Naveran is the surname of a family dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards and artisanal production of its own wines and champagnes. Its wineries are located on the estate of Can Parellada (Torrelavit), in the center of the Alt Penedès. Being winegrowers, ie cultivating vines and making wines, controlling at all times the growth and quality of grapes and making coupages innovators from their own varieties, distinguishes these wineries most existing in the area.
In 2010, the turnover of Cavas Naveran was 1.5 million euros, of which half is exported. Its main markets, as well as Spain, are in Belgium, the United States, Denmark, Japan, Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, Czech Republic, Malta, England and Ireland.
Designation of Origin Penedès is the first tourism destination in Spain, with nearly half a million visitors in 2009.
